Lady, sorry to inform you of this, but it's too late to get groceries!!!

It's been about a year and a half now, since I joined the blogging world & started peppering the world and bugging my friends with little anecdotes, YouTube videos and ponderings. From the very beginning, I've enlisted Google AdSense to assist me in becoming one of those bloggers that makes thousand$ of dollars a day in advertising revenue. (Actually my blog has been successful in many other ways, in that it has brought me business in connection with my yummy direct-sales business that I love so... but that's another story. And probably another blog...)
Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
In 1999, Dave Freeman co-authored a book called, "100 Things To Do Before You Die". The book was one of the first contemporary books to create a travel agenda based on 100 sites and then market it with a title that reminded mortal readers that time was limited. The book started with his quote, "This life is a short journey. How can you make sure you fill it with the most fun and that you visit all the coolest places on earth before you pack those bags for the very last time?"
It's Sunday, and that's usually "golf subject day" in the HenHouse. However, I do digress today as I came across this photo of a very rare 2-toned lobster. Never seen anything like it... This sucker is a typical mottled green on one side; the other side is a shade of orange that looks cooked. And the colour is perfectly split down the middle. Why they haven't nicknamed him "Cruella", I'll never know.
Last week in New York, Steven Page - the lead singer of Canada's Barenaked Ladies was arrested and charged with possession. Oh, I wish I hadn't heard that. BNL is a fab fave of the Golf HenHouse, and their latest CD, "Snacktime" is constantly being played for Pitch & Putt in the golf-mobile. When you hear a news item like that, happening to someone you don't know but you admire, you can't help what thing got them in there in the first place. No one knows... just one person. If he has a problem, I hope he gets help. If he screwed up, I hope he owns up to it. If it's a mistake, I hope it's corrected. For his sake and his family's, I hope that this particular situation can be turned around into something positive.
